Our social business start-up no PB GmbH is now B Corp certified

With the B Corp certification, no PB GmbH/TRASH2TREASURE as company has been awarded for social and environmental impact.

The company, which emerged at the end of 2019 as a spin-off from an innovation project of cosnova beauty, is thus committed, a binding commitment to create a sense of responsibility by establishing socially and environmentally conscious policies and to actively respond to the needs of all stakeholders.

„The trustworthy seal of approval creates public transparency, builds trust with consumers, partners and suppliers, and enables us to further substantiate our intentions for a better, more sustainable tomorrow“, says Brand Lead Astrid Haury, summarizing the certification.

“In order to receive the certificate, no PB/TRASH2TREASURE was evaluated on the basis of five pillars: Employees, Customers, Suppliers, Communities and Environment. The result: We operate in a socially and environmentally responsible manner and manage to balance profit and purpose.”

no PB GmbH operates as a start-up in the field of social business. The background of the spin-off was to allow other companies to participate in the idea of creating new treasures from supposed waste. The noPB brand TRASH2TREASURE works with designers, artists and creative people and has already realized projects in the areas of art, furniture, and consumer goods. Always with a focus on design for recycling and with an authentic fit with the company's DNA.

As close partner TRASH2TREASURE has already implemented projects in all three areas for cosnova and its own brands. Art was created from leftover nail polish, furniture and lighting objects from old nail polish bottles and eyeshadow containers.

New products for consumers were also developed: handles for brushes made from recycled plastic from the yellow sack, which were part of a limited edition of 160,000 pieces. Further ideas and projects are in the pipeline. cosnova would like to further expand the cooperation and show that the packaging of cosmetic products is also of high quality and valuable. As a volume market leader, it is our responsibility to take a holistic view of a product and find sustainable solutions.
